The Abeo Miramar Neutral
The forefoot strap may be a problem for some ladies with moderate to severe bunions. If the strap rubs right on the bunion it can cause pain, discomfort and even possibly cause the bunion to get larger. If you suffer with bunions, try on the sandal to make sure the straps don't rub across the bunion and, if there is any discomfort, don't get them.

These look great. I will definitely give a look for them. Definitely nice for walking around town. Wondering if you have any suggestions for beach sandals or shoes to wear into the water. With a suede lined footbed these seem far too nice to wear in the sand. I have a pair of keen H2O that served me well for hiking through streams, into caves and over rocks, but now they hurt my hallux limitus because they are too flexible in the front. Any ideas for a better substitute?
Many thanks for your fabulous blog.
Wendy
I just found my answer in your review of the top ten sports sandals. I see that my Keens are listed there, but I'll try some of your other recommendations and see if I find something that works better for me.
Thanks again!
Hi Wendy,
Just remember, when shopping, test each shoe or sandal to make sure that there is as little motion across the forefoot at possible. I'm constantly amazed at the variances within the same brand between the individual shoes. Whenever I have patients come in, I physically check their shoes - many times I've found that the shoe is defective or what looks like a sturdy shoe is actually very flexible and vice versa. You can't judge by looking - you have to pick it up and test it by trying to bend it - and then, obviously, try it on to see how it feels to you.
Hope all is well!

Great shoes...bought them at Beachwood Mall in Cleveland area and have been more than satisfied. Thought my sandal-wearing days were over with my plantar fasciitis until I tried these on. Thanks Abeo :) and those who recommend them!
Hi Franque,
This is weird! I didn't remove your post and I'm not able to access what you wrote so - I'm not sure what happened...
